Bidding may be reopened at the auctioneer's discretion. All items are sold to the highest bidder by the auctioneer. You must be aware of the shipping costs before you bid on an item. Purchase is not contingent upon shipping costs. Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. All purchases (including buyer's premium) are subject to a Connecticut State sales tax of 6.35% unless (1) the buyer is an out of state resident and lots are being shipped out of Connecticut or (2) the purchaser has a valid tax resale certificate (an actual resale certificate must be presented and on file with Westport Auction) 4. Online bidders will have a 28% buyers premium with a discount of (3%) for cash or good check. A 23% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot sold to the floor and phone bidders with a discount of (3%) for cash or good check (28% for all online bidders) with a discount of (3%) for cash or good check. Pickups for this sale will be Wednesday June 16th through Friday June 25th 9am-5pm weekdays only. Previews for the auction are by appointment only.
